KaJa Babymode started with baby fashion that grows with and is suitable for cloth diapers. Sewing is my yoga, when I switch off my brain and enjoy creating something with my hands, which is how I create cloth nappies made in Switzerland as well as baby fashion. In the meantime, I was bitten by the cloth nappy bug and fully immersed myself in the colourful world of cloth nappies and the diaper-free cosmos. In the meantime, my little online shop has grown and I offer sustainable and mostly handmade articles for diapering with modern cloth nappies, diaper-free accessories, all kinds of baby clothes and women's things at KaJa. However, my heart beats above all for my advisory customers. I love being able to pass on my knowledge and accompany families on their way to a more sustainable baby and family life. My favourite way to do this is to talk to you, whether at home or online. And because KaJa is now so much more than just baby fashion, you will find me under the name "KaJa Baby und mehr" from mid-2022. Best regards Anja
Wie bist du zur Stoffwindel gekommen?
It was already clear to me during pregnancy that I wanted to use cloth nappies. My mum did it for me and I wanted to do the same for my child. I also wanted to avoid the huge mountain of disposable nappies.
Was ist deine Lieblingswindel?
I find gauze nappies and knitted nappies great as absorbent material because they are so flexible and grow with the baby for a long time. On top of that, my first choice for wetness protection is an overpant made of PUL. I love the overpants from Kla.Motti, Doodush and the Wizly from Windelzauberland.
Was ist der lustigste Stoffwindelmythos?
That cloth nappies always leak. I used WWW diapers at the beginning of my diapering career and they leaked much more often than cloth nappies.
Dein grösster Fail?
In the beginning, I never pushed the leg cuffs properly into the groin, so every bodysuit was wet for the first 2 weeks. When I changed that, the cloth nappies were super tight.
Wo ist bei dir Nachhaltigkeit sonst noch anzutreffen?
I try to avoid food waste and am mostly zero waste in the bathroom. The only thing I haven't made friends with yet is toothbrush tablets ;)

Hold off! Every unused nappy is the best nappy ;)

Knitted nappy with hemp booster or prefold (for older children) and of course KaJa slip-on overpants made of recycling PUL :)
